Mission Statement We, the people of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, called to live out our faith at this time and place, affirm our commitment to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has placed us in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, to provide a place for worship, Christian education, fellowship, peace and compassion. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we celebrate God's grace through worship, preaching and teaching God's Word, participation in the Holy Sacraments, and singing songs of praise and thanksgiving. In order to be sustained by our life and mission, and in response to Christ's love, we strive to provide for our spiritual growth and seek to comfort, nurture and support one another. We welcome all people into our fellowship. As part of the body of Christ, we celebrate the diversity of God's people. We seek to draw on the talents of both clergy and laity and to involve each person in the life and mission of this congregation. As part of the global church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and the Rocky Mountain Synod, we seek:
Putting our faith into action and mindful of the changing world around us, we seek to reach out to all people.
