We are very excited and grateful to be working in a beautiful church that provides community to a loving congregation in the middle of Capitol Hill. It’s a perfect location for all of our employees and very central to our customers. Our Harvest Moon Benefit in September was a huge success last month and we gained many new supporters. Last month we also graduated 2 employees to full time sewing positions with local Denver manufacturing businesses. That means that this month we were able to hire 2 new employees and acquire another industrial sewing machine to help us with our busy holiday schedule. We recently got a spot at the Denver Merchandise Mart and have been picked up by several new stores ranging from Grand Junction to Montana. So there is much hard work ahead with the potential and reward of substantial growth to our small business.

We are looking forward to meeting all of you at the Adult Forum on December 11th with hopes that we can share our stories with you and share our up-cycled products as well. Our “up-cycled” bags are made from old banners, burlap and denim and make meaningful Christmas gifts. You can find a preview of one of our bags in the annual OSLC silent auction on November 6th.
