Donor Dash Set for July 18
This year’s Donor Dash will be held on Sunday, July 18 at 8 a.m. in Washington Park. If you are interested in joining my team (and getting a free blue Jill Connett/Turtle t-shirt!) please see Melody (or call 303-761-7241).This event is a 5K walk or run, but if you are more comfortable just showing up and being counted and enjoying some good company with fellow teammates, there are plenty of others to chat with. The event raises awareness of the need for registered organ and tissue donors and will also have speakers who can attest to the good that comes from this cause. If you’d rather not miss church, since the event is on a Sunday, but would like to wear the team t-shirt to church that day (or any day), I can help you with that too!

"Holy Hammers" Needs Your Help
Our Savior's is looking to get more involved with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver by partnering with other Lutheran Churches to sponsor Habitat homes.  Scott Glaser and Frank Tapy have been receiving information about this partnership, called the "Holy Hammers," but have been unable to attend the planning meetings that take place on one Tuesday each month due to other meetings they attend.  We are looking for a volunteer to work with Scott and Frank to attend these monthly meetings and to help represent Our Savior's.  If you can assist, please talk to Scott (303) 752-8812 or Frank. 303-377-8215.

The Lutheran
For those of you who currently receive The Lutheran magazine, you should have gotten a letter in your box recently asking to cover the cost of the subscription ($8 for a year).  For those of you who don’t currently receive it, there are copies of the magazine in Madsen Hall.  Please take a look at it, and if you are interested in starting to get The Lutheran please give a check or cash to Kathy and make sure your address is current.

Mugwash
The Mugwash Team has been at its ‘behind the scenes’ work for almost three years!  Due to some personnel changes, you now have the opportunity to volunteer for this valuable task!  Due to the number of people on the Team, your responsibility to wash the mugs in the automatic dishwasher would be one Sunday every other month.  Please contact Linda Carlson at 303-423-9651 or leave a note in her mailbox at church.
