Privacy Statement
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church
Our Savior’s Lutheran
Church Council approved this Privacy Statement (the “Statement”) May 13, 2003 in order to demonstrate our commitment to safeguarding the privacy of users of
our web site “www.OSLCdenver.org”. We reserve the right to amend the Statement
at any time with or without notice to the public.
At
no time will Our Savior’s Lutheran Church:
- Publish more than a
first name and last initial unless the individual grants prior permission;
- Publish the personal
phone number, email and/or physical address of an individual unless the
individual grants prior permission;
- Publish photographs
of children;
- Publish links to
personal web sites;
- Solicit personal
information during a visit to Our Savior’s web site unless that information is
needed to complete an interaction, e.g. prayer concern or feed back, that the
user/guest requests or initiates; and
- Reveal or sell any
personally identifiable information to a third party.
Our Savior’s Lutheran
Church will:
- Provide an
alternative means of submitting information offline through contact with the
church office at 303/831-7023 or in person;
- Provide contact
information through the church office, when appropriate, e.g. the names and/or
phone numbers of committee/ministry team chairman or event coordinators; and
- Publish photos of
events and activities at Our Savior’s
Lutheran Church,
within the restrictions listed above, without seeking prior approval and treat
such photos as property of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed
to be totally secure. While there may be a slight risk that data could be
intercepted or interrupted, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church seeks to provide for
secure transmission of all users’ personally identifiable information from their
computer to the secure servers at our web hosting service.
